In Ahmedabad, an exciting event is set to take place from June 26 to June 28, 2025. The Child Enrollment Festival and Girl Education Festival will welcome thousands of new students into schools. This event aims to encourage education among young children in the region.
The Gujarat Education Department is organising this celebration, which will involve 666 primary schools and 236 secondary schools in Ahmedabad rural. A total of 90,862 children will receive admission during this grand event. The festival will start at 8:00 AM and end at 1:30 PM each day.
On the first day, children will be welcomed into Balvatika (pre-primary) and various grades. Specifically, 14,533 children will join Balvatika, 16,777 will enter Grade 1, 32,767 will start Grade 9, and 26,785 will enroll in Grade 11. This celebration is a significant step towards promoting education in the area.
The event will be attended by several important officials, including the Cooperative Minister, Mr. Jagdish Vishwakarma, who will personally help the children enroll in schools. Along with him, around 15 IAS and IPS officers will also be present to support the initiative.
