On June 28, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah visited Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He launched various development projects for the citizens of his Lok Sabha constituency. The minister took part in four major events in the Sanand and Bavla talukas to boost development in the area.
One key highlight of Shah’s visit was the inauguration of a model cooperative village at Adaroda in Bavla. This initiative, developed by the Adaroda Seva Cooperative Society, is the first of its kind in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha area. The village now has a cooperative society, a cooperative bank, a community hall, and a health center all located in one complex. This development will provide residents with essential services in one place, saving time and improving convenience.
After the inauguration, Shah visited the complex and praised the unity of the villagers. He also opened a newly constructed building for the Juwal Primary School in Sanand. This school now has modern facilities, including eight new classrooms and a toilet block. It will help 387 children from grades 1 to 5 receive quality education in a better environment.
Additionally, Amit Shah inaugurated a new village panchayat office in Fangdi, Sanand. This office will streamline administrative work and make government services more accessible and transparent for villagers. This development is expected to speed up rural development efforts.
Shah also participated in a tree planting event at the Oxygen Park in Sanand GIDC. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to environmental protection and creating greener spaces. It aims to improve the local environment and provide citizens with clean air.
The inauguration events were attended by several notable figures, including former minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, local MLAs, and a large number of villagers. This visit not only highlighted the government’s focus on rural development but also showcased the importance of community participation in these projects. Shah’s efforts aim to enhance the quality of life for residents in this region of Gujarat, ensuring they have access to better education, healthcare, and administrative services.
