A study class was held by the Bharat Vikas Parishad West Zone in Palanpur on May 24 and 25. The event saw the participation of 78 officials from Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Goa. Key figures, such as National Organisation Minister Suresh Jain and National Convener Mukesh Jain, guided attendees on various important topics including communication, service, culture, environment, and women’s participation. The regional president, L.R. Jajuji, designed the programme, which was managed by regional secretary Vinod Lathiya. The planning involved regional joint secretaries, provincial presidents, and provincial secretaries to ensure the success of the workshop. The workers of both branches of the Bharat Vikas Parishad in Palanpur provided all necessary facilities for the programme.

As part of its development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Palanpur on May 26 and 27, 2025. During this visit, he will inaugurate various development projects worth over ₹4,000 crore, including railway projects that will enhance connectivity and boost local employment.
The upcoming railway projects include the inauguration of a new manufacturing shop and the doubling of several railway lines. This is expected to generate thousands of jobs and stimulate the local economy. The Prime Minister will also launch new drinking water supply schemes to ensure that residents in the Mahisagar and Dahod districts have access to clean drinking water.
Palanpur continues to be a city with a blend of historical significance and modern development, making it an important centre in Gujarat’s northern region. The Bharat Vikas Parishad’s initiatives further highlight the community’s commitment to fostering growth and development through education and service. As Palanpur looks ahead, it aims to balance its rich heritage with the prospects of modern growth and sustainability.
