Bomb Threat at Vadodara School Raises Alarm Again

In Vadodara, there has been a serious incident involving a bomb threat at a school for the second consecutive day. On June 24, 2025, the principal of Refinery Gujarat Board School received an email threatening that a bomb had been placed in the school and it would explode. This alarming message created panic among students, parents, and the school management.

As soon as the school administration became aware of the threat, they immediately informed the police. Various teams, including the bomb squad and dog squad, rushed to the scene to conduct a thorough search of the premises. The police took the threat seriously and began an extensive investigation. The principal received the threatening email at around 7:35 AM, but it had been sent the previous day at 6:47 PM.

This incident follows a similar threat received by Navrachna School in the Sama area of Vadodara just a day earlier. That threat also turned out to be a false alarm after an exhaustive three-hour search by the police. Authorities have not found any suspicious items in either case.

Parents were quickly notified about the situation, and students were sent home for their safety. The school management urged parents to remain calm and avoid creating chaos outside the school. Buses and vans were arranged to ensure that students could return home safely.

The police, along with senior officers from various departments, arrived promptly and began a detailed investigation into the email’s origins. Cybercrime units are also working to trace the email’s IP address to identify the sender. This is not the first time the Refinery School has received such threats; similar incidents had occurred previously, including one in January 2025.

The repeated bomb threats have heightened anxiety among parents and school officials. Many are calling for stricter measures against such threats to ensure the safety of students in the future. The local police have reassured the public that they are taking all necessary precautions to keep schools secure.

As the investigation continues, parents and community members are urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. The situation remains tense as the police work to ensure that schools can operate safely and without fear.

The school has taken proactive measures to ensure the safety of its students, including regular safety drills and collaboration with local law enforcement. The community is hopeful that the police will quickly resolve this issue and bring those responsible to justice.

In conclusion, the bomb threats at Vadodara schools have sparked considerable concern among residents. The police are determined to address these threats seriously to protect the community and ensure the safety of all students.
