Kalol: Vejalpur village is facing a serious cleanliness issue. With the Eid festival approaching on June 7 and the monsoon season ahead, local resident Firoz Bhai Nanu raised concerns about the dirt in the village. On his request, the Vejalpur Gram Panchayat took notice of the situation. The Panchayat’s Talati, Jignesh Bhai Gohil, assured that the village would be cleaned before Eid.
Firoz Bhai Nanu, along with the Talati, inspected the Muslim area of Vejalpur, which was particularly affected by the waste. They found heaps of garbage scattered around. The villagers are eager for a clean environment, especially with the Eid celebrations coming soon. Jignesh Bhai Gohil promised that the cleaning would be completed by June 5, ensuring everything would be tidy for the festivities.
Additionally, with the monsoon approaching, there was a request to clean the drainage pipes over the Ruparel River in Vejalpur. This is crucial to prevent blockages due to litter and bushes. The local residents highlighted the importance of proper drainage to avoid waterlogging. The Talati, along with the Panchayat staff, agreed to inspect the area and take necessary actions.
