COVID-19 Cases Rise in Bhavnagar, Yet More Patients Recover

The new cases include individuals from various localities such as Shishuvihar, Vaghabadi Road, and Kaliabid. These patients include a 23-year-old woman from Shishuvihar, a 30-year-old woman from Vaghabadi Road, and a 35-year-old woman from Shantnagar, who has a travel history to Surat. Other cases involve a 51-year-old man from Sagwadi and a 49-year-old man from Kaliabid, who traveled to Dhandhuka. An additional 46-year-old man from Shivpark Society and an 18-year-old man from Sidisar have also tested positive.

Upon showing symptoms, these patients were taken to the hospital for testing. Despite their positive results, their conditions are stable, and they are currently receiving treatment at home. According to health department officials, a total of 24 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Bhavnagar over the last 23 days, with 14 of these cases in the city itself. So far, 36 patients have recovered from the virus, while 17 are still receiving home treatment.

The health department has advised residents to remain cautious as the number of cases continues to rise. Authorities are urging the community to follow safety guidelines, including wearing masks and maintaining social distance. They stress the importance of hygiene practices to curb the spread of the virus.
