On May 23, 2025, the Dharoi Adventure Fest will be inaugurated at the famous Dharoi Dam in Mehsana district. This event, the longest of its kind in India, will be opened by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel at 9:30 AM. The festival is organised by the Gujarat Tourism Department and the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI).
The Dharoi Adventure Fest promises thrilling experiences across land, water, and sky. Visitors can enjoy over ten exciting activities, including cultural programmes. The event will feature modern AC tent accommodations, with options such as Darbari tents, premium tents, and deluxe tents, as well as an AC dormitory with more than 100 beds.
Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera shared details about the festival. He mentioned activities like power boating, parasailing, paramotoring, rock climbing, bouldering, trekking, hiking trails, mountain biking, cycling, and camping. Each evening, cultural events will also be held to entertain visitors.
For an unforgettable experience, the fest will include stargazing and astronomy workshops, nature walks, and photography tours. The aim is to offer a memorable adventure in a natural setting.
The tent city will provide modern amenities, including a dining hall and various tent categories for comfortable stays. Safety is a priority, with health facilities, certified rides, and fire safety measures in place.
