Elections Prepared in Limkheda Taluka: 39 Gram Panchayats Set for Voting

The preparations for the elections in Limkheda Taluka have been completed. This election will cover 39 gram panchayats, including 26 general elections and 13 by-elections. A total of 90 candidates are contesting for the sarpanch (village head) position and 435 candidates for the member positions. This time, voting will be conducted using ballot papers instead of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

There will be 75 polling stations where 439 staff members will perform their duties. This includes presiding officers, assistant presiding officers, and polling staff. All staff members have received special training on the election process using ballot papers. To manage the election process, 9 zonal officers have been appointed.

For the transportation of voting staff, arrangements have been made with 6 buses and 24 jeeps. A special campaign is underway to raise awareness among voters about the importance of participating in the elections. The control room has been set up at the Mamlatdar office. Mamlatdar Anil Vasava has assured that all arrangements have been made to ensure the elections are conducted fairly and transparently. The control room will operate 24 hours a day.
