The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board is set to hold a written exam for the Lok Rakshak Cadre (LRD) on June 15, 2025. This exam will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM across seven locations in the state. The exam centres are located in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Anand, and Bhavnagar. Approximately 248,000 candidates from various districts are expected to participate.
To ensure that candidates can reach their exam centres smoothly, the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) will operate extra buses. These buses will run from the closest depots to the exam centres before and after the exam days, specifically on June 14 and June 15, 2025.
The decision to provide extra bus services comes as a response to the large number of candidates expected. The GSRTC plans to facilitate advance online ticket booking for the extra bus services. Candidates will be able to book their tickets easily via the GSRTC website.
During this period, candidates can obtain tickets at the ticket counters at GSRTC depots, as well as through online booking. Additionally, for any queries regarding the bus services, candidates can contact the GSRTC’s toll-free number, 1800 233 666666, which will be available 24/7.
This initiative aims to make transportation easier for candidates, ensuring they can attend the exam without any hassle. The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board is committed to supporting the candidates during this important time. Candidates are encouraged to make use of the extra bus services and plan their travel in advance to avoid last-minute rushes.
The exam is crucial for candidates aspiring to join the police force in Gujarat. The extra bus services represent a proactive step by the GSRTC to assist in this process. With the right planning, candidates can ensure their timely arrival at the exam centres, paving the way for a successful examination experience.
