Four New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Gandhinagar

In Gandhinagar, four new COVID-19 cases have been reported today. With these new cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the district has reached 21. Among the new cases is a 34-year-old staff nurse from the civil hospital, who resides in Raysan. The other patients include a 39-year-old woman from Randesan, who works as an assistant manager in a metro city, a 46-year-old woman from GIDC, and a 37-year-old woman from Sector 6.

On Tuesday, a retired senior citizen from Sargasan and a woman from Sector 1 also tested positive. Both patients are currently in home isolation. No new cases have been reported in rural areas.

In light of the increasing cases, doctors are taking special precautions. Patients showing COVID-19 symptoms are advised to get tested immediately. Family members of patients are also urged to get tested if they show any symptoms.

According to sources from the health department, the report confirms four women in Gandhinagar city have tested positive for COVID-19 today. In the rural areas, a 49-year-old man from Dabhoda and a 65-year-old woman from Dantali (Moti Adraj) have also tested positive. Therefore, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Gandhinagar has now reached 21.

Due to the rising number of cases, a fever outpatient department (OPD) facility will be set up on the ground floor of the D Block at Gandhinagar civil hospital. This facility aims to provide better care to patients and manage the growing number of cases effectively.
