The Gujarat Common Admission Service (GCAS) portal has announced important dates for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic year 2025-26. Students who missed the first phase of applications or were unable to verify their submissions do not need to worry. The government has set a new schedule for the second phase of admissions through the GCAS portal.
The quick registration process for phase-2 started on May 24, 2025. Students who have applied in the first phase and wish to make changes to their applications or have had their admissions cancelled can do so between May 13, 2025, and June 15, 2025.
The complete form filling for phase-2 will occur from May 29, 2025, to June 13, 2025. Students must verify their applications during this period. The admissions process for phase-2 will begin on June 21, 2025.
For postgraduate admissions, the schedule has also been announced. During the first phase, students can apply to various universities, including Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University and Gujarat Technological University.
The quick registration with complete form filling for phase-1 will be from May 29, 2025, to June 7, 2025. Students need to verify their applications between May 29, 2025, and June 10, 2025. The admissions process for the first phase will start on June 16, 2025.
This year, over 208,000 students have completed quick registration by May 16, with many looking forward to securing their spots in their chosen courses. With over 1,000 free form filling and verification centres available, students can easily access the services they need. This initiative aims to support students throughout their admission process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience as they embark on their educational journeys in Gujarat.
