Khalistani Terrorist's Accomplice Arrested in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad has been in the news after a key accomplice of Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dalla was arrested by Punjab police. The individual, Lavish Kumar, had been living in Ahmedabad for some time. He was reportedly working for Dalla and his associate, Jeedi Mehndi Puriya. This arrest raises concerns about the Khalistani connection in Ahmedabad.

Gaurav Yadav, the Punjab Police Chief, expressed gratitude towards Gujarat’s DGP, Vikas Sahay, and the Ahmedabad police for their exceptional help in capturing Kumar. This operation followed the recent shooting of another Khalistani terrorist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in Canada.

Arsh Dalla, originally a gangster from Punjab, had moved to Canada where he became involved in Khalistani activities. Lavish Kumar was instrumental in supporting Dalla’s operations from Ahmedabad. Just recently, Dalla had been detained in Canada for questioning.

Alongside this arrest, the Punjab Police have launched an investigation into Dalla and his associates. Reports suggest that Kumar had connections with Jeedi Mehndi Puriya, the brother of a recently killed terrorist, Teja Mehndi Puriya. Kumar faces numerous charges, including murder, kidnapping, and attempted murder. He has also been accused of extortion from a major liquor supplier.

The Punjab police became active when they received information about Kumar hiding in Ahmedabad. After locating him, a collaborative operation was undertaken with the Gujarat police, leading to his arrest with the assistance of Ahmedabad police.

Currently, investigators are exploring Kumar’s connections and his international ties, which may reveal a broader network linked to Khalistani terrorism. This situation highlights the ongoing concerns regarding the Khalistani movement and its impact both within India and abroad.

The recent events have raised questions about the safety and security in regions where such individuals are operating. As investigations continue, authorities are keen to uncover the full extent of Kumar’s connections and the implications for national security.

Khalistani terrorism has been a persistent issue, often leading to violence and unrest. The involvement of individuals like Arsh Dalla and Lavish Kumar in international networks poses a significant challenge for law enforcement agencies. Their activities not only threaten peace within India but also strain relations with countries like Canada, where some Khalistani terrorists have found refuge.

As the situation develops, it will be crucial for authorities to remain vigilant and proactive in tackling such threats. The arrest of Lavish Kumar is a significant step, but it also underscores the need for continued efforts to dismantle these networks and ensure the safety of the public.

The Khalistani movement has roots in the demand for a separate Sikh state, and its resurgence has led to various incidents of violence. The international dimension of this movement complicates matters, as it draws in individuals from different countries and backgrounds.

In conclusion, the arrest of Lavish Kumar in Ahmedabad illuminates the ongoing fight against Khalistani terrorism. As law enforcement agencies work to uncover the wider network, the focus remains on ensuring security and stability both in India and abroad.
