Luxury Bus Drivers Ignoring Road Rules in Bharuch

In Bharuch, a new four-lane road is being built from Zadeshwar Chowkdi to Tava village at a cost of ₹23 crores. The government has announced this road as a one-way route to avoid traffic problems. However, some drivers still ignore the rules. On Wednesday morning, a bus driver made a turn and climbed onto the luxury divider while trying to pass another bus.

The four-kilometre stretch from Zadeshwar Chowkdi to Tava has been designated one-way for two months. Despite this, travel operators continue to violate the rules. Every day, traffic jams occur on this route, causing delays for students heading to school. Even though the road is officially one-way, it seems that the bus drivers do not care.

Traffic congestion affects the daily commute of many, particularly schoolchildren. This situation needs urgent attention from the local authorities to enforce road safety rules. Without stricter measures, the problem is unlikely to improve. The new road was intended to alleviate traffic issues, but the ongoing violations by bus drivers are undermining this goal.

Local residents are frustrated with the situation. They feel unsafe as buses speed through the one-way stretch. There is a growing demand for better enforcement of traffic rules to ensure everyone’s safety. The authorities should take action to prevent further accidents and ensure that the road serves its intended purpose.

In conclusion, while the construction of the new road is a positive development, the disregard for traffic rules by some drivers poses serious risks. It is essential for the government to implement stricter traffic regulations to maintain safety on the roads. The community deserves a safer environment for daily travel, especially for the young school children who rely on this route.
