In a significant operation, the Patan LCB team seized a large quantity of foreign liquor from Sunsar village in Chansma. The operation was based on a tip-off, leading to the discovery of 588 bottles of foreign liquor valued at approximately ₹1,35,888. The raid took place under the guidance of Patan LCB PI R.G. Unagar, as part of a special drive to combat illegal activities related to alcohol and gambling ahead of upcoming local elections.

The operation highlights the commitment of the Patan District Police to enforce prohibition laws in the region. During the raid, the police found the liquor bottles hidden beneath bricks in a shed owned by a local named Sagarji Champuji Zala. However, Zala was not present at the time of the raid.

After the successful operation, the LCB team turned over the case to Chansma Police Station, where a prohibition case was registered against the unidentified individuals involved in this illegal activity.
