Resident Additional Collector J.K. Jagodia also gave suggestions. He said each district and taluka should have control rooms to watch the weather and act quickly. The meeting also covered cutting weak trees near roads and removing old buildings and billboards that could fall.
Cleaning rivers, canals, and drains was another big topic. Dams should be checked often. Officials must be ready with food and medical help. Teams will be made to check water levels at low bridges and help move people and animals if needed.
