A mock drill is set to take place in Banaskantha district on May 29, 2025, at 5 PM as part of Operation Shield. The aim of this drill is to ensure the safety and preparedness of citizens during emergencies. During the mock drill, there will be a blackout from 7:45 PM to 8:15 PM in all villages in the Wav and Suigam areas. Sirens will sound to alert the community about the blackout.
