The victim, Dashrath Parmar, works at the company and had parked his Hero Splendor motorcycle there on May 23. He arrived at work at 7 a.m. and secured his bike in the designated parking area.
However, when Dashrath checked the parking lot at 3 p.m. after finishing his shift, he found that his motorcycle was missing. After searching the area with no luck, he reported the theft to the Kalol police station. Dashrath initially thought someone might have taken the motorcycle by mistake, but after a thorough search, it became clear that the bike was stolen.
The motorcycle is valued at approximately 30,000 rupees. Upon receiving the complaint, the police started an investigation. They have filed a case against an unknown person who may have stolen the motorcycle. The police are actively looking for leads to solve this case and retrieve the stolen bike.
This incident highlights the growing issue of motorcycle thefts in the region. Motorcycles are often targeted due to their value and the ease of stealing them. The police urge residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
In recent years, the number of motorcycle thefts has increased in many parts of Gujarat. Authorities are working on community awareness programs to educate people about safety measures. They encourage motorcycle owners to use secure locks and park their bikes in well-lit areas.
The Kalol police are also increasing patrols in areas known for such incidents. They believe that community cooperation is essential in fighting crime. Local residents are being asked to look out for each other and report any thefts or suspicious behaviour.
As the investigation continues, the police hope to recover Dashrath’s motorcycle and bring the responsible individual to justice. They encourage anyone with information about the theft to come forward and help with the investigation. The police are committed to making the area safer for everyone.
