New Residential Complex for Raj Bhavan Staff Inaugurated in Gandhinagar

A new residential complex named ‘Aishwaryam’ has been inaugurated for the staff of Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar. The inauguration was done by the Governor, Acharya Devvrat. This complex aims to provide modern facilities and a comfortable living environment for the Raj Bhavan family. The Governor expressed that ‘Aishwaryam’ represents happiness, prosperity, and wealth. He emphasized that the complex should provide not only shelter but also respect, peace, and satisfaction for its residents.

The new residential area includes 96 Type C, 32 Type D, 4 Type E, and 4 Type F houses. Additionally, it features a community hall, a health care centre, ten shops, and a large garden. The construction was completed in just 937 days, highlighting the efficiency of the project.

The Governor noted that he took the initiative to rebuild the old staff quarters, which had become dilapidated. The ground-breaking ceremony took place on November 1, 2022. Today, the complex stands as a modern facility for the staff and their families.

During the inauguration, the Governor also unveiled an ATM centre of the State Bank of India within the complex. He encouraged the residents to maintain a harmonious environment of brotherhood, unity, and tolerance. He mentioned that the families living here should ensure that there are no vices or inappropriate behaviours in the community.

Children are seen as the greatest asset, and the Governor expressed his hope that the children growing up in ‘Aishwaryam’ would achieve great things and make history. He expressed a desire for ‘Aishwaryam’ to become a model colony, where families thrive and prosper.

The inauguration event was attended by various officials, including the General Manager of the State Bank of India and other dignitaries. The Governor’s secretary thanked him for his constant guidance, which made the construction of this beautiful complex possible. He urged everyone to keep the area clean and become role models for an ideal community.

In conclusion, ‘Aishwaryam’ is not just a residential complex; it is a vision for a better living environment for the Raj Bhavan staff. The Governor’s hopes for progress and prosperity for the families living there are a testament to the importance of community well-being in Gandhinagar.
