In Ramdevpirji Tekra, a significant school enrolment event took place as part of the government’s initiative to promote education. Avantika Singh, the Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, participated in the school enrolment event at the municipal school. This event was part of a three-day celebration for school admissions and the Kanya Kelavni Mahotsav 2025, aimed at encouraging parents to send their children to school.

During the event, Avantika Singh enrolled 10 children in the Anganwadi, 28 in the Balvatika, and 7 in Standard 1. She highlighted the importance of education, especially for girls, noting that the school admission festival has raised awareness among parents. This initiative is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to increase education access for all children.

Avantika Singh reminisced about her time as the collector in Ahmedabad when the Ramdevpirji Tekra area often faced flooding and had many unstable houses. She expressed happiness that under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, around 8,000 permanent houses are being constructed in the area. This shows the government’s commitment to improving living conditions for families.

She also mentioned several ongoing government schemes like the Namo Lakshmi Scheme, Namo Saraswati Scheme, and the Chief Minister’s Poshtik Aahar Scheme, which are aimed at supporting children’s education and health. Singh emphasized that the government is focused on creating a conducive environment for children’s development and education.

The event included tree planting by Avantika Singh and a meeting with the School Management Committee (SMC) members. She urged the SMC members to work as a team for the betterment of children’s education. The program also recognized bright students and distributed educational kits to the children enrolled in school. Pregnant mothers received maternity packets, and children participated in a traditional ceremony.

Students from the school played an active role in the event by presenting speeches on various topics, including road safety, which is a global concern. The gathering took a pledge to prevent road accidents, showing the importance of safety in their community.

Overall, the school admission festival was a success, highlighting the importance of education in shaping the future of children in Ramdevpirji Tekra. The government’s initiatives are paving the way for a brighter future for these children, enabling them to aspire to become doctors, engineers, and leaders in their communities.
