On 9th June 2025, the Western Railway announced a new stop for the Namobharat Rapid Rail service. This stop is located at the Sanand and Ambli Road stations. The train number 94801/94802 will now make stops at these locations, offering local residents and commuters a faster travel option.

The Namobharat Rapid Rail service is designed to enhance connectivity between Ahmedabad and Bhuj. Starting from 9th June 2025, train number 94801 will arrive at Ambli Road station at 17:47 and depart at 17:49. It will then reach Sanand station at 17:59 and leave at 18:01.
In the opposite direction, train number 94802 will reach Sanand station at 09:48 and leave at 09:50, then arrive at Ambli Road station at 09:59 and depart at 10:01.
