Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a two-day visit to Gujarat. He arrived in Ahmedabad on the evening of May 26, after visiting Bhuj. Upon his arrival at Ahmedabad Airport, he received a warm welcome from the Governor of Gujarat, Acharya Devvrat, and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The event was also attended by Union Minister Manohar Lal, BJP state president CR Patil, and other dignitaries.

On the same evening, a grand road show was organized from Ahmedabad Airport to Indira Bridge Circle. A large number of people gathered to join the road show, waving flags and showing their support for the Prime Minister. This enthusiastic reception was part of a busy schedule for PM Modi, who had previously conducted a road show in Vadodara and inaugurated development projects in Dahod worth ₹23,292 crores.

The road show in Ahmedabad featured over 50,000 supporters and workers from the BJP. The route included 26 stages set up for cultural performances, showcasing traditional dances and activities along the way. The road show stretched approximately 2 kilometers, and excitement filled the air as people from across the state came to see PM Modi.

This visit is significant as it follows Operation Sindoor, marking PM Modi’s first visit to Gujarat since the operation’s success. On the morning of May 26, he participated in a Sindoor Yatra in Vadodara, which drew a massive crowd. After the Yatra, he addressed a gathering in Dahod, highlighting the government’s commitment to development.

The road show in Ahmedabad was not just a political event; it was a celebration of community spirit. Residents expressed their joy and pride in a vibrant display of culture and support. PM Modi interacted with the crowd, acknowledging their cheers and enthusiasm.

Local authorities had prepared for the event by implementing traffic diversions and road closures to ensure the safety and smooth movement of the thousands of attendees. The Ahmedabad police issued advisories for travelers, advising them to allow extra time for their journeys due to the expected traffic delays.

Overall, PM Modi’s visit to Gujarat is marked by strong public engagement and a focus on development initiatives. As he continues his tour, the Prime Minister aims to connect with the citizens and showcase the ongoing projects that promise to improve the state’s infrastructure and economy.
