Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an impressive road show in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, marking his first after Operation Sindhoor. The excitement among the people was palpable as they gathered from early morning to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister and greet him. This road show took place on the second day of PM Modi’s visit to Gujarat. It began at 10:30 AM, starting from the Raj Bhavan and continuing to the Mahatma Mandir. At 11 AM, he attended the Urban Development Program at Mahatma Mandir, where he inaugurated projects worth ₹5,536 crores. In total, he launched various projects worth ₹1,447 crores under the Urban Development Department, which include development works in cities like Jamnagar, Surat, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Junagadh.
During the road show, over 30,000 supporters and party workers welcomed PM Modi. The enthusiasm was similar to that seen in his previous road shows held in Vadodara, Bhuj, and Ahmedabad. Before the road show, Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi reviewed the arrangements.
In his speech at Mahatma Mandir, PM Modi spoke passionately about his vision for a developed India by 2047, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of India’s independence. He emphasized the importance of urban development and economic growth, urging local governments to create growth centers in urban areas. He noted the significance of agriculture in enhancing the economy and encouraged villagers to support local businesses.
PM Modi also addressed the issue of terrorism, stating that India would no longer tolerate attacks and would take necessary actions against terrorism. He called upon the citizens to avoid using foreign products and to support local industries, reinforcing the ‘Make in India’ initiative. He expressed pride in India’s growing economy, highlighting that India is now the fourth-largest economy in the world, having surpassed Japan.
This visit and the road show showcased PM Modi’s commitment to development and his strong stance on national security. He reminded the citizens of the sacrifices made for independence and the need for unity and resolve to ensure India’s future prosperity. The road show was not only a display of political strength but also a reflection of the people’s support for PM Modi’s vision for Gujarat and India as a whole.
