Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gandhinagar to celebrate various development projects. This visit marked the second day of his trip to Gujarat. After a roadshow, he inaugurated projects worth ₹5,536 crore at the Mahatma Mandir. During the event, he addressed a large crowd celebrating 20 years of urban development in Gujarat.
Modi spoke about the recent successes of the Indian Army against terrorism, particularly concerning the attack in Pahalgam. He highlighted that this time, everything was done in front of the camera to ensure there would be no need for evidence. He noted that opposition leaders were demanding proof of the army’s actions, but he asserted that God was providing the evidence this time.
As Modi travelled through Gujarat, from Vadodara to Ahmedabad and now Gandhinagar, he remarked on the overwhelming display of patriotism he witnessed. He described the scenes of people chanting and waving flags, reflecting their love for the motherland.
The Prime Minister also drew historical parallels to India’s partition in 1947, highlighting the suffering caused by terrorism. He expressed that the series of terrorist attacks have continued for 75 years, affecting the nation deeply. Modi emphasized the need to remove the roots of terrorism, comparing it to a thorn that disrupts the entire body.
As part of the celebrations, thousands of people gathered from various districts to show their support and enthusiasm. Women were particularly visible, showcasing their excitement and dedication to the nation’s progress. The atmosphere was filled with joy and unity among the crowds.
During his speech, Modi reflected on the challenges India has faced with terrorism and the military’s responses. He stated that Pakistan has learned that they cannot defeat India. He expressed confidence in India’s strength and resilience, pledging to continue the fight against terrorism.
