In Bharuch, police have successfully arrested three members of a gang responsible for breaking into shops. This group had been operating in Bharuch and Surat. They reportedly stayed in guest houses and planned their crimes during the day. Then, they executed their thefts at night.

On June 19, 2025, the gang broke into the Mahadev Provision Store on Nandelav Road. After the burglary, Bharuch City A Division police filed a case. Under the guidance of PI R.M. Vasava and PSI A.V. Shiyaliya, they began their investigation. They reviewed smart camera footage and CCTV from the store to gather evidence.

After extensive efforts, police learned that the gang was back in the Nandelav area. They quickly devised a plan and apprehended the trio: Danish, also known as Deniyo Bhupatbhai Gohari from Amreli, Pravin Naranbhai Nagar, and a minor who has had run-ins with the law.

During questioning, the suspects admitted to the crime. Police seized mobile phones and cash worth ₹13,000 from them. The gang revealed that they targeted shops after staying in various guest houses across different districts. Both Danish Gohari and Pravin Nagar have been linked to multiple thefts in several areas.
