Quick Arrest of Young Man for Attempted Murder in Saraswati Taluka

In a shocking incident in the Saraswati Taluka of Patan district, a young man named Aslam Khan Rasulkhan Baloch attempted to harm an innocent person. This incident took place in the village of Hayderpura. The police acted swiftly and arrested the suspect within hours of the complaint being filed.

Aslam Khan, originally from Dunawada in the Harij area of Patan, is now living in Jakhatta. The police quickly took him to the crime scene for a reconstruction of the event. During this process, Aslam revealed all the details of his actions to the police. Many locals gathered to witness the police parade of the accused.

In a related development, the Cabinet Minister for Water Resources and Supply, Kunvarjibhai Bavaliya, visited the site of a renovation project on the 12th L District Distributor canal in the same area. The renovation, costing ₹1.28 crore, aims to improve irrigation facilities in the region. During his visit, the minister inspected the work and discussed plans to ensure that water can be released into the canal during the winter months. This will benefit around 400 hectares of farmland in the area.

The minister also reviewed various projects aimed at securing drinking water and irrigation facilities in the district. He instructed district officials to maintain quality in the repair and mechanical work being done on the canal.

Saraswati Taluka is located in North Gujarat’s Patan district. It was formed after separating some villages from the Patan Taluka. Over the years, administrative changes have taken place, including the temporary formation of the Vagvad Taluka, which was later dissolved. In 2012, it was officially announced that the Vagvad Taluka would be eliminated, with its villages merged back into Saraswati Taluka. This region is now focusing on development and improving resources for its residents.
