Sabar Dairy Reduces Animal Feed Prices by ₹50

Sabar Dairy has announced a price reduction for animal feed, bringing joy to over 300,000 farmers in Sabarkantha and Aravalli districts. The price for a 65-kilogram bag of animal feed has dropped from ₹1,600 to ₹1,550. This decision comes as a relief during tough economic times for many farmers.

The management at Sabar Dairy made this important decision to support local farmers. They believe that reducing the feed price will help farmers manage their costs better. The chairman of Sabar Dairy, Shamal Patel, stated that the price cut will save the dairy around ₹800,000 daily. Additionally, farmers will benefit by approximately ₹300 million annually.

Currently, Sabar Dairy produces between 18,000 to 20,000 bags of animal feed each day. Out of these, over 15,000 bags are sold daily. The positive response from farmers shows their happiness with this decision.

However, some farmers are not completely satisfied. There have been protests regarding milk price increases, leading to concerns about the overall support from Sabar Dairy. Farmers argue that while the feed price reduction is helpful, they also need better prices for their milk.

Recently, farmers gathered outside Sabar Dairy, demanding more transparency in pricing and better compensation for their milk. They expressed frustration over the rising costs of living and the need for fair treatment from the dairy.

As the agricultural season continues, farmers are hoping that Sabar Dairy will address their concerns about milk pricing. They are asking for a fair price to cover their rising expenses.

The decision to lower feed prices is seen as a step towards improving the relationship between Sabar Dairy and the farming community. Farmers hope this will lead to better support and understanding from the dairy in the future.

In conclusion, while the price reduction in animal feed is welcomed, farmers are looking for more comprehensive solutions to their ongoing challenges. They are eager for a collaborative approach that ensures their livelihoods are secure and sustainable. The coming weeks will be crucial for both Sabar Dairy and the farmers as they navigate these issues together.
