In a significant operation, the Sabar Kantha police acted on a tip-off and seized a large quantity of foreign liquor. The police stopped an unregistered jeep near the three crossroads in Bubadiya, Kheroj. During the inspection, they discovered 288 bottles of foreign liquor valued at ₹64,000. Three suspects were arrested from the jeep. The arrested individuals are Rakesh Lakshmanbhai Khokhariya, Kalu Jognabhai Solanki, and Gajendra Mirabhai Gamara, all residents of Kotda Chhavni in Udaipur district, Rajasthan.

The police have confiscated a total of ₹1.79 lakh worth of goods in this case. This includes the liquor, three mobile phones, and the jeep. During questioning, the arrested suspects revealed the involvement of seven more individuals. Complaints have also been filed against Upendra Mina, Kanti Gamara, Lalitbhai, Jitubhai, Sardar, Dineshbhai, and Bharat Gamara. All these suspects have been charged at the Kheroj police station. The police are currently searching for the absconding suspects.
