Sanand Community Health Centre Distributes Ration Kits and Health Information

In Sanand, Ahmedabad, a significant event took place at the Community Health Centre (CHC). Employees from Index India Private Limited distributed ration kits to 133 beneficiaries. These kits are designed to support vulnerable groups in the area, especially pregnant women at risk and patients suffering from tuberculosis (TB).

The ration kits included essential food items. Each kit contained 5 kilograms of lentils, 10 kilograms of flour, 10 kilograms of rice, and 2 litres of cooking oil. In total, this amounted to 27 kilograms of food supplies for each beneficiary.

During the event, the Taluka Health Officer provided the attendees with valuable insights into health, nutrition, and government health schemes. This initiative was carried out under the guidance of the Human Service Trust, the Sanand Taluka Health Officer, and their dedicated team.

Many notable figures attended the event, including officials from Index India, the head of the municipal health department, Ms. Parulben Shukla, the president of the Sanand Medical Association, Dr. G.K. Chauhan, and the Taluka Health Officer, Mr. B.K. Vaghela. Civil Superintendent Mr. Bhavesh Hadiyal and numerous healthcare workers were also present, showing their support for this important community initiative.
