School Admission Festival Celebrated in Hansol

In Ahmedabad, a school admission festival was recently held at Hansol Primary School. The event marked the start of a three-day educational fair across the state. Avanti Singh, the Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, was present to encourage the students and parents. During the festival, 57 children were admitted to the school’s nursery, and 66 to the first grade, making a total of 123 new students. Among them, 9 children moved from private schools to join Hansol Primary School.

Avanti Singh spoke about the importance of education and how events like this provide motivation to students, teachers, and parents. She expressed joy in seeing children take their first steps into education. The festival not only celebrates the beginning of school for these children but also recognises their hard work and talent, which fills their parents with pride.

Talking to the children, Avanti Singh reminded them that in today’s competitive world, hard work is essential. She said that setting goals and studying regularly from childhood is crucial. She encouraged the students to take advantage of various government schemes aimed at improving education, so they can build bright futures that will make their parents proud.

The event also highlighted the commitment of teachers who go beyond their duties to support students. Avanti Singh thanked the large number of parents who attended and congratulated the school for organising such a successful event. The festival included tree planting by distinguished guests and a tour of the school premises, along with a meeting with the School Management Committee (SMC).

Avanti Singh urged parents to fully support their children’s education, emphasising that children are the future of the nation. The students managed the entire programme, showcasing their talents through speeches and cultural performances.

The event was attended by Deputy Collector Dr. Parimal Bhai Patel, the principals of Hansol Primary Schools No. 1 and 2, and various SMC members, teachers, and parents. This festive occasion not only marks the start of a new academic year but also reinforces the importance of community involvement in education.
