Six Arrested for Armed Robbery at Petrol Pump in Patan

In a swift action, police in Patan have arrested six men accused of robbing a petrol pump manager at knifepoint. The robbery took place in the village of Gadosan on June 25. The manager was returning to Patan with ₹89,000 in cash from the Mahalaxmi petrol pump when he was stopped by the suspects. They threatened him with a knife and stole the cash along with his mobile phone and other important documents.

The police, under the direction of Superintendent V.K. Nayak and LCB Inspector R.G. Unagar, launched an investigation immediately after the incident was reported. The team discovered that the suspects were from nearby areas, including Memadpur, Hansapur, and Ramnagar.

It was revealed that the same suspects had attempted to rob the petrol pump manager just days before, on June 21, but they failed when passersby approached. This time, they had planned the robbery more carefully, tracking the manager’s route.

The police seized the stolen money, mobile phones, and the vehicle used in the crime. The suspects have been charged under relevant sections of the law and handed over to the Patan police station for further proceedings.

4. Sanjayji Agaraji Babaji Thakor

6. Vishalji Sendhaji Bachuji Thakor
