Tata Motors, India’s largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles, has partnered with Vertelo, a provider of bespoke electric mobility solutions. They have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to make electric commercial vehicles more accessible across the country. This partnership aims to provide customised leasing solutions that will help fleet owners transition to sustainable mobility. The solutions will apply to Tata Motors’ entire range of electric commercial vehicles.

Rajesh Kaul, Vice President and Business Head – Trucks at Tata Motors, expressed the company’s commitment to making electric mobility more accessible to all customers. He stated, “This partnership with Vertelo is a significant milestone in our journey to enable extensive availability of our advanced electric commercial vehicles. Through such collaborations, we are not only accelerating the adoption of sustainable transport solutions but also contributing to the development of a robust EV ecosystem in India.”

Vertelo’s CEO, Sandeep Gambhir, also shared his excitement about the partnership. He said, “We are thrilled to join hands with Tata Motors to speed up the adoption of various types of electric commercial vehicles, including buses, trucks, and mini-trucks. This partnership will simplify bespoke leasing solutions and facilitate the creation of a sustainable ecosystem that makes electric mobility the natural choice for commercial fleet operators.”

Tata Motors offers a range of electric vehicles, including the Tata Ace, Tata Ultra, and Tata Starbus, aimed at last-mile connectivity and mass mobility solutions. The company has also showcased electric variants like the Tata Prima E.55S, Tata Ultra E.12, Tata Magna EV bus, Tata Ultra EV 9 bus, Tata Intercity EV 2.0 bus, Tata S Pro EV, and Tata Intra EV, catering to various applications and customer needs.
