On Monday, a serious threat was made against the Gujarat High Court in Ahmedabad. An unknown person sent an email threatening to blow up the court with a bomb. All entrances to the High Court were closed as a precaution. A dog squad was deployed to search the premises for any explosives. This incident caused the High Court registrar to issue a notice to close the court after recess. However, police took the threat seriously and began an investigation to locate the sender of the email.
