Upon receiving the email, court officials quickly contacted the police. A team from the police arrived at the court to start an investigation immediately.

All entrances to the High Court were closed as a precaution. A dog squad was deployed to search the premises for any explosives. This incident caused the High Court registrar to issue a notice to close the court after recess. Lawyers were instructed to leave the court premises after lunch at 1:45 PM due to the ongoing security checks.

According to police sources, as soon as the email was received, the court administration alerted the authorities. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and dog squad teams rushed to the site to conduct a thorough search operation inside and around the High Court building. All vehicles entering the premises were checked, and visitors were temporarily banned from entering.

Senior officials from the Ahmedabad police and the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrived to oversee the situation. Fortunately, during the initial investigation, no suspicious items were found. However, police took the threat seriously and began an investigation to locate the sender of the email.

Senior police officials in Ahmedabad are conducting further inquiries into this matter. The incident has raised concerns about security at legal institutions in the state. Authorities are keen to ensure that such threats do not happen again in the future.

This incident highlights the importance of security measures in public institutions, especially in courts where sensitive legal matters are discussed. The quick response by the police and court officials helped prevent potential panic among the public and legal professionals.

As investigations continue, the police urge anyone with information regarding the email to come forward. They are committed to ensuring the safety of the courts and maintaining public trust in the legal system.
