A serious accident occurred in Hingla village, located in the Fatehpura taluka of Gujarat. On the evening of yesterday, a tempo, carrying a DJ and generator, lost control while taking a sharp turn. The driver could not manage the steering, causing the tempo to overturn. Sadly, two men were trapped under the vehicle and died at the scene. Three others suffered serious injuries.
According to reports, the tempo, registered as GJ 04YU 6035, was speeding recklessly. At approximately 7:15 PM, the driver took a turn too quickly. The tempo flipped over on the road, pinning Rakeshbhai, Amitbhai, and Ritulbhai beneath the DJ and generator. While Rakeshbhai and Amitbhai managed to escape with injuries, Siddhrajbhai and Ankurbhai sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot.
The driver fled the scene after the accident. Local police quickly arrived and transported the injured to the nearest government hospital for treatment. The bodies of Siddhrajbhai and Ankurbhai were taken for a post-mortem examination.
Following the incident, a complaint was filed by Rameshbhai Dalabhai Damor, a resident of Bachkariya village. The police have registered a case against the tempo driver for causing death by negligence and are actively working to apprehend him. This tragic event serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and responsible driving. Authorities urge drivers to remain vigilant and cautious while on the roads to prevent such unfortunate incidents in the future.
