A young man was tragically murdered in Nikol, a suburb of Ahmedabad, during a money dispute. The incident occurred on Wednesday night at Mukti Dham Estate, where the 31-year-old victim, Vivek Singh Tomar, worked in an embroidery factory.
Vivek was involved in a heated argument with three men over financial issues. The argument escalated quickly, and one of the attackers, identified as Nitesh Tomar, stabbed Vivek multiple times with a knife. His brother, Kuldeep Singh Tomar, received a phone call from their uncle, Ajayveer, urging him to rush to the scene. Upon arrival, Kuldeep found Vivek bleeding heavily and unconscious on the ground.
Emergency services were called, but by the time Vivek reached the hospital, doctors declared him dead. Kuldeep later learned that Vivek and their cousin, Pankaj Tomar, were standing outside when Nitesh and his accomplices, Aakash Chouhan and Azad Chouhan, approached them. They began to shout and argue, leading to the violent attack.
In the chaos, Pankaj was also injured when he tried to intervene. Witnesses said that after the stabbing, the three attackers fled the scene. Kuldeep promptly reported the incident to the Nikol police, who have registered a murder case against Aakash, Azad, and Nitesh.
This incident has shocked the local community, highlighting ongoing issues with violence in the area.
