In a tragic incident, a couple from Chandrumana village in Patan district lost their lives in a plane crash in Ahmedabad. The crash occurred on June 12, when the couple, Kuberbhai and Babiben Patel, were traveling to meet their son in the UK. They were on an Air India flight that was supposed to leave for London.
The plane took off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 1:38 PM but crashed just two minutes later.
