Dahod: Two tragic road accidents in the Dahod district have led to the deaths of two individuals, leaving their families in mourning. The first incident occurred on June 1 in the Chakaliya police station area of Zalod. A DJ Isuzu driver was speeding recklessly when he hit an Eco four-wheeler. During this incident, Nareshbhai Chuniyabhai Ninama, who was walking by the roadside, was struck. He suffered severe injuries to his arms, legs, and head. Nareshbhai was rushed to a nearby hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the DJ Isuzu fled the scene. Following this, Maheshbhai Chuniyabhai Ninama filed a complaint at the Chakaliya police station. The police have registered a case and are proceeding with legal actions.
The second accident took place in Budhpur village of Dhanpur on the same day. A driver of a Tufan four-wheeler was reversing recklessly at high speed when he struck Sunki Ben Keshanbhai Mavi, who was standing behind the vehicle. Like Nareshbhai, Sunki Ben suffered serious injuries to her arms, legs, and head. She was also taken to a nearby hospital but unfortunately passed away on the way.
In this case, Keshanbhai Veljibhai Mavi lodged a complaint at the Dhanpur police station. The police are investigating the incident and have registered a case.
