A group of twelve travellers from Kheda District has set off for London. Among them are eleven individuals who boarded the flight together. The group includes residents from different towns in Kheda, showcasing the region’s diverse community.
Three people from Thasra, two from Mahudha, one from Mehmedabad, and three from Nadiad are part of the journey. Notably, Prashant Patel, a former head of Kathlal, was on the flight. Palak Patel from Kathlal also joined the group.
From Nadiad, the couple Mahadev Pawar and Asha Pawar took their seats on the plane. They were accompanied by Rupaben Patel from Uttarsanda and Rudra Patel from Vansoli, Mahudha.
Parvez Vohra from Thasra and his five-year-old daughter, Ziya Vohra, were also among the passengers. Purnimaben Patel, who lives in Dakor’s Yamuna Park, was excited to visit her son for the first time in London.
The elderly couple, Praveen Patel and his wife Ranjanben Patel from Singhal, Mahudha, also made the journey. Their presence adds a touch of family connection to the trip.
Dheer Patel, the son of Prfulbhai Mangalbhai Patel, who works at the Kapadvanj Industrial Training Institute, was also on the plane. This gathering of individuals shows the unity and spirit of the Kheda community as they embark on this exciting journey together.
Kheda District is located in the central part of Gujarat. Nadiad is its main town. The district is known for its rich agricultural heritage, with tobacco, cotton, millet, and wheat being the primary crops. The district has a strong history of independence movements, with notable events like the Kheda Satyagraha of 1917-18.
With a population of over 229,988, Kheda ranks 197th in India by population. The literacy rate in the district stands at 84.31%, showing the community’s commitment to education.
