A fire erupted in the parking area of the Venus Atlantis building, a prominent commercial complex in Prahladnagar. Eyewitnesses reported that several parked vehicles were engulfed in flames, producing thick smoke that alarmed nearby residents and office-goers. Before the arrival of the fire brigade, occupants attempted to control the blaze using available fire extinguishers. The fire was eventually contained, but not before causing significant damage to multiple vehicles.

Fire at Andaz Party Plot on SG Highway

Late on Thursday night, a massive fire broke out at the Andaz Party Plot, located opposite the Makarba SP office on SG Highway. The blaze originated in decorative materials stored at the venue, including fabrics and wooden items, which are highly flammable. The fire rapidly spread across the plot, prompting an emergency response from the Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services. Four fire tenders were dispatched to the scene, and teams from the Prahladnagar fire station joined the operation. Firefighters managed to douse the flames using water cannons. Fortunately, no injuries or loss of life were reported.
