On the day of the incident, Nilesh Bhai was driving with a large sum of cash. Two cars, which had been following him for a long time, rammed into his vehicle. The robbers then forced him to stop and stole the cash before fleeing the scene. Nilesh Bhai quickly informed a senior police officer in Rajkot about the incident.

The police recovered ₹72 lakh in cash from them.
