Just two days prior, a woman was caught with MD drugs in Bhuj, another city in Kutch. The woman was arrested by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Bhuj police. She had 2.5 grams of MD drugs in her possession.
The police have registered cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against both suspects. The rise in drug trafficking in Kutch poses a significant challenge for law enforcement. Police continue to make regular seizures of narcotics in the district.
