Kalol, a town in Gujarat, has recently seen a successful operation by local police. They have recovered two stolen motorcycles from different areas. This operation came after high-level police officials gave strict instructions to curb property-related crimes. The instructions aimed to prevent such crimes and detect any ongoing cases of theft.
Under the guidance of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, the Kalol police, led by Inspector R.D. Bharwad, conducted a vehicle check at Madhavas Chowkdi. During this check, they noticed a suspicious individual riding a blue and black Hero Splendor motorcycle without a registration number. The police stopped him and asked for the necessary documents for the vehicle. The rider could not produce any documents, and both the vehicle and the individual appeared suspicious.
Upon searching the engine and chassis numbers of the motorcycle, police found that it was reported stolen at the Kalol police station. The police took the suspect into custody for questioning. During the investigation, he confessed to stealing the motorcycle from the outskirts of Jetpur village about a month ago.
Further questioning revealed that he had stolen another motorcycle, which he had hidden near Bakrol village. The police then seized both stolen motorcycles and registered a case against the suspect for vehicle theft.
The arrested suspect is identified as Nareshbhai, also known as Rahul Lakshmanbhai Parmar, aged 30, who works as a labourer and currently resides in Panoram Chowkdi, Halol. The police are still looking for another suspect named Manojkumar, known as Chiko Vikramsinh Gohil, who lives near Bakrol bus stand.
This incident highlights the continuous efforts of the police in Kalol to combat theft and maintain safety in the community.
