Unity of Hindus is the Key to Their Safety: Mohan Bhagwat

In a recent interview, Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), emphasized the importance of Hindu unity. He stated that the time has come for Hindus to come together and be strong. Bhagwat’s remarks come at a time when there have been renewed attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. He called for Hindus to stand united, saying that if they are not strong, no one in the world will care about their safety.

Bhagwat quoted Balasaheb Deoras, saying, “India is a Hindu nation. Everything else in the union is temporary.” He believes that the entire Hindu community is responsible for protecting this nation. He highlighted that the culture and nature of India are rooted in Hinduism, which is why it is a Hindu nation.

He also stated that the safety of Hindus is guaranteed by the unity of India. Bhagwat pointed out that the pride of the Hindu community is closely linked to the pride of the nation. If the Hindu community becomes strong, it will automatically empower Hindus worldwide.

The RSS chief mentioned that this ongoing work is progressing, even if slowly. He reassured that a situation is gradually emerging where Hindus will feel empowered and united.

Bhagwat’s statements reflect a growing concern among Hindu groups about the safety and unity of Hindus, especially in light of recent events in Bangladesh. The attacks on Hindu temples and communities have raised alarms, prompting leaders like Bhagwat to speak out.

The RSS, being a significant cultural and social organization in India, has a history of advocating for Hindu unity and strength. Bhagwat’s comments resonate with many who believe that a united Hindu front is essential for the community’s safety and continued existence in the face of adversity.

In conclusion, Bhagwat’s message is clear: unity among Hindus is not just necessary; it is the only way forward. He calls upon Hindus to recognize their strength and to come together for their protection and the preservation of India’s cultural identity. This sentiment is likely to gain traction as more Hindus reflect on their shared heritage and the importance of standing together in challenging times.
