The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Patan has taken a significant step by submitting a memorandum to the Chief Minister. This request is for the immediate removal of Minister Bachu Khabad. However, AAP accuses Minister Khabad and his family of presenting false bills. They allege that this has led to the embezzlement of crores of rupees meant for poor villagers. Despite these serious allegations, the government has not taken any action against Khabad. Instead, he remains in his position. The party argues that if Khabad and his family have committed fraud in just three villages, the scale of corruption across all districts could be enormous.
AAP is calling for an immediate investigation into these allegations. They demand that a special, impartial committee be formed to look into corruption claims throughout the state. The party insists that honest taxpayers of Gujarat deserve to see justice served against those in power who exploit their positions.
