We correct factual errors quickly and in the open.
How to report an error
Email [email protected] with the article link, the specific statement you believe is wrong, and, if you can, a source that shows the correct information.
What we do
- We check the claim against the article’s sources and any source you send.
- If the article is wrong, we correct it and add a dated correction note at the top of the article saying what was changed.
- We do not silently change published facts. Small fixes to spelling or formatting that do not change meaning may be made without a note.
- If an article cannot be corrected without misleading readers, we update it to say so or take it down and explain why.
How our articles are made
Our articles are researched and written with the help of AI tools, working from news reports, official notices and public records. A story is published only when its core facts are confirmed by at least two independent, reputable sources, which are linked in the article and listed at the end. Our process checks every draft against those sources before publication, including a check that the wording is our own and not copied. Articles are not individually reviewed by a human editor before they go live, and every article ends with a note saying it was written with AI assistance.
