In a shocking incident in Ahmedabad’s Satellite area, a gang was caught slashing the tyres of more than 15 parked vehicles. This incident took place near Vaibhav Tower in Rajiv Nagar. The gang attempted to hide their identity by covering their faces with shirts and removing the number plates of the vehicles. However, their mistake led them straight to jail.

A few days ago, the gang slashed the tyres using sharp weapons before fleeing the scene. CCTV footage captured the entire incident, allowing the Satellite police to investigate. They examined over 50 CCTV cameras in the area, including those from nearby societies, shops, and buildings, which ultimately helped them identify and apprehend four members of the gang.

The arrested individuals are Bipin Singh Garasiya, Anil Singh Garasiya, Mahesh Sisodiya, and Jitendra Singh Garasiya. Police seized a knife from them during the arrest. During questioning, the suspects revealed that they were acting on the orders of another person named Nepal Singh.

Nepal Singh, who lives in Rajiv Nagar, had a feud with his brother Jignesh in Udaipur, Rajasthan. To take revenge, Nepal Singh collaborated with the gang to damage the tyres of vehicles parked near Vaibhav Tower, including Jignesh’s car.

Despite their efforts to avoid capture, including changing shirts and hiding their faces, they could not escape the police. After committing the crime, the gang stopped at an ice cream parlour to eat ice cream, where they made an online payment. This payment trail led the police directly to them.

Currently, the police have registered a case against all the suspects and are continuing further investigations to locate the absconding member, Nepal Singh. This incident highlights the need for enhanced security measures in urban areas to protect property from such vandalism. The community is relieved that the police acted swiftly to apprehend the suspects and prevent further incidents.

Local residents express their concerns about safety, especially in well-off areas like Satellite, where such crimes are unexpected. They urge local authorities to increase police patrolling and surveillance to ensure that the community remains safe. The incident has sparked discussions about the importance of community awareness and cooperation with law enforcement to tackle crime effectively. As the investigation continues, the police hope to gather more evidence and bring all involved parties to justice.
