Along with the heroin, the police also seized an Android mobile phone valued at 5,000 INR and a motorcycle worth 25,000 INR. The total value of the seized items amounts to 1,90,000 INR. This case marks the first time in Banaskantha district that all parties involved in the heroin supply chain—suppliers, users, and traffickers—have been charged under the NDPS Act.

The arrested individual has been handed over to the Dhanera police station. His name has not been disclosed, but the police are investigating further. Names of others involved include Vikram Bhai Dinesh Bhai Luhar, Omji Bhai Vishnoi, Harish Bhai, Tulsi Bhai, Hitesh Soni, and Arvind, also known as Bhurji Rabari. The police have filed complaints against residents of Malotra and are continuing their investigation.

This operation has caused a wave of fear among those involved in the drug trade in the district. The local community is now more aware of the dangers associated with drug trafficking. The police are urging residents to report any suspicious activities.

Malotra village is located in the Dhanera taluka, which is in the northern part of the Banaskantha district of Gujarat. The village mainly engages in agriculture and animal husbandry. The local economy relies heavily on crops like wheat, bajra, cotton, and various vegetables. The presence of a primary school, a panchayat office, and a dairy provides essential services to the villagers.

The recent drug bust has highlighted the need for increased vigilance against drug-related activities in the region. Police officials are committed to addressing this issue and ensuring the safety of the community. They are also working to educate the public about the risks of drug abuse and trafficking.

As the investigation continues, authorities hope to dismantle the entire drug network operating in and around Malotra village. The police are appealing for community support to combat this growing problem. Residents are encouraged to stay alert and report any suspicious activities to help protect their community from the dangers of drugs.
