A new school complex has been inaugurated in Anandnagar village, located in the Tharad taluka of Gujarat. The inauguration was conducted by Shankarbhai Chaudhary, the Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. This project, part of the School of Excellence initiative, cost ₹47.54 lakh. The new facilities will provide better educational services for local students, allowing them to learn closer to home.

The event began with a lighting of the lamp and prayers, setting a respectful tone for the occasion. During the ceremony, Shankarbhai Chaudhary recognised and celebrated students from grades one to three who achieved top scores in various exams. He presented them with educational kits as a reward for their achievements.

Chaudhary highlighted the importance of education, stating, “Learning improves the future.” He emphasized that education is essential for progress in any field. He urged parents to work hard for their children’s education, just as they work to secure employment for themselves.

After addressing the audience, the Speaker interacted with children and encouraged parents to prioritize education in their families. Following this, he visited the school’s computer lab and digital classrooms, where he engaged with both teachers and students. He praised the digital transformation taking place in education.

The principal of the school welcomed Chaudhary warmly and provided information about the institution’s dedicated service to the community. The Speaker expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Anjana Kalbi Patel Community Service Union, who contributed to the school’s progress. At the end of the programme, he planted a tree in the schoolyard, sending a strong message about environmental conservation. The Anjana Kalbi Patel Community Service Union also distributed free notebooks to students during the event.

Additionally, a tree-planting campaign was organized at Sachidanand Van in Tharad, where over 10,000 local trees will be planted. This initiative was a joint effort between the Tharad Municipality, the Social Forestry Department, and the Sachidanand Institution. Chaudhary noted that such environmental efforts are crucial for the community.

Overall, the inauguration of the school complex marks a significant step forward in enhancing educational facilities in the region. It reflects the commitment of local leaders to improve learning opportunities for children in Anandnagar and surrounding areas. As the community continues to grow, such investments in education will play a vital role in shaping the future of its young residents.
