According to police reports, the suspects are Mahammad Salimbhai Hamidbhai Davda, originally from Katwad in Himmatnagar, and Abdul Raouf Kovidya, a resident of Himmatnagar. They were found operating from rented shops near a dairy in Bhilwan village and near a water tank in Vadani village.

Police seized medical equipment, drugs, and injections worth ₹4,421.72 from Mahammad Salimbhai and ₹2,852 from Abdul Raouf. Both men have been charged under the BNS-2023 Act, section 319(2), and the Medical Practitioners Act, section 30.
This action was part of a broader initiative to crack down on fake doctors who pose a severe threat to the health of the general public. The Patan police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
Fake doctors can lead to dangerous health outcomes, as they often lack the necessary knowledge and training to provide medical care. The police have urged residents to verify the credentials of any medical practitioner before seeking their services.
Authorities emphasize the importance of protecting public health and safety. They are committed to taking strict actions against those who exploit the vulnerabilities of the sick and unsuspecting patients. In light of this incident, the police will enhance their patrols and monitoring in areas where such illegal practices are suspected.
The community is encouraged to report any suspicious medical activities to the authorities to prevent such illegal practices in the future. By working together, residents can help ensure their safety and the safety of their loved ones.
This event serves as a reminder of the ongoing issues with unlicensed medical practitioners in various regions and highlights the need for greater public awareness about the qualifications of those providing medical care. The police are determined to make Patan a safer place for all.
