Theft Case in Disas GIDC Area Solved Quickly

The police in Disa have made a swift arrest in a recent theft case. This incident occurred in the GIDC area, where thieves broke into three shops just two days ago. They managed to loot two shops while failing to break into the third. Following the theft, the police received a tip-off that one of the suspects was roaming around the Tekra area of Disa. The South Disa police acted promptly and arrived at the scene. They arrested the suspect involved in the theft and took strict action against him.

From the arrested suspect, police seized stolen goods valued at ₹22,500. During the interrogation, the suspect confessed that there were other individuals involved in the crime. As a result, the police have launched a search for the other suspects who managed to escape.

The quick resolution of this theft case has garnered praise for the South Disa police. The arrested individual has a criminal history, having been involved in around eight previous cases. Just fifteen days ago, he was released after serving a sentence. Despite his recent release, he chose to commit another theft, leading to his immediate return to jail.

The main suspect identified is Vagaji Madarji Thakor, a resident of Mudetha, near Disa. The police are continuing their investigation to apprehend the other accomplices involved in this crime. This incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement in combating theft and ensuring public safety.

In a related note, the Food and Drug Department has also been active in Disa recently. They conducted raids on two different oil industries in the GIDC area, collecting samples of suspicious oil for testing. Complaints have been raised about food items being adulterated in Disa for some time. In response to these concerns from vigilant citizens, the Food and Drug Department’s team, led by Inspector Priyanka Chaudhary, inspected the factories and collected various oil samples. These samples will be sent to a government lab for analysis, and further action will be taken against the factory owners based on the results.

The Food Department’s recent efforts have created a sense of fear among other traders involved in similar activities. They have been conducting inspections consistently over the last fifteen days across the Banaskantha district, targeting businesses suspected of food adulteration. This persistent action is part of a broader initiative to ensure food safety and quality in the region. The police and regulatory bodies are working together to maintain law and order, ensuring the safety of citizens and the integrity of local businesses.
